Rockpool Research sessions with Patrick Tegart

Friday April 5th Bermagui Fisherman’s Wharf  – Rockpool Research – come and hear a presentation by Patrick Tegart about his honours research with UTS studying vagrant tropical fish in rockpools south of Sydney and the importance of intertidal habitats. Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf Boardroom (First Floor) 7:30pm


Saturday April 6th Bermagui – Rockpool workshop – Patrick will show us how rockpool underwater monitoring can be undertaken to give best results. Location TBC Saturday morning near Bermagui (register interest with Libby)

A Fungi Foray

Are you interested in learning more about Fungi? 

Teresa van Der Heul will be leading a Fungi Foray at Bodalla Forest Park on Tuesday April 16th from 10:00am to 2:30pm.

Teresa has studied the local Fungi for 18 years.  She will help you find and identify different species of fungi which can be seen at this time of year. Teresa says, “I am looking forward to sharing my passion with others”.

Your sightings will be added to the Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness, our 10 year biodiversity project.
